Features Spotlight: Electronic Return Receipts
A USPS Electronic Return Receipt provides you with official proof of delivery directly from the United States Postal Service®. This receipt includes the recipient's signature, precise date and time of delivery, and detailed information about the actual delivery address. The Electronic Return Receipt is a digital alternative to the traditional green Physical Return Receipt postcard, offering convenience, speed, and secure storage of your important mail records.
On Mailform, you can elect this feature using our single or bulk mail tool as an additional enhancement to the Certified Mail Tracking feature. If you'd like to add return receipts to Priority Mail products - please just reach out - this is possible through a custom job.
What Exactly Does the Customer Receive?
When you opt for an Electronic Return Receipt, you receive an official USPS document that serves as proof of delivery, including:
Recipient’s Signature (digital copy)
Recipient’s Actual Delivery Address

These digital records are maintained by USPS for two years from the date of mailing. After 60 days, retrieving older records may take longer.
