Feature Spotlight: Return Envelopes
Make it Easy to Get Responses with Return Envelopes
Need recipients to send something back to you—like a signed form or payment? With Mailform’s Return Envelope feature, you can include a pre-addressed return envelope right inside your original mailing.
What is a Return Envelope?
Return envelopes are #9 windowed envelopes that your recipient can use to send items back to you. Each includes a perforated slip with your return address, making it easy for the recipient to place it in the envelope along with any necessary documents.
Currently, these return envelopes are blank and do not include postage.
Recipients are responsible for affixing their own stamp and mailing it back.
Why Use Return Envelopes?
Including a return envelope is helpful when you want to:
Collect signed forms, applications, or agreements
Receive payments via check
Facilitate invoice processing with easy return instructions
Improve response rates by reducing friction for the recipient
Present a more professional image to your customers
This feature is especially handy for small businesses, legal services, medical providers, or individuals needing documents returned without hassle.
How to Add Return Envelopes
You can include return envelopes in two places:
Single Letter Flow: Select "Return Envelope" during the Mail Service Selection step prior to payment.
Bulk Mail Flow : Add them via the Main Envelope Management screen.
