Using Address files to manage Postage Service

Yes! You can use Mailform bulk address files to pre-select the postage service you'd like to apply to each envelope.

This helps in cases where you've got a lot of recipient addresses and can use formulas or rules in excel or your spreadsheet application to select which envelope will be sent with each service. It also helps in cases where you're sending mail via a service which we do not naturally expose in the BulkMail web interface.

Here is how you do it

1. Add a column in your file named "service"

2. Select from one of the following services and write it in each record:

   1. USPS_POSTCARD

   2. USPS_CERTIFIED

   3. USPS_CERTIFIED_RECEIPT

   4. USPS_CERTIFIED_PHYSICAL_RECEIPT

It's as simple as that - now when you upload the address file your envelopes will be pre-selected into the service in advance, without requiring you to check and select a service for each envelope
